Rebel Monkey Co-Founder to Present on "The Markets of Tomorrow" at the 2008 Casual Games Summit

New York City (PRWEB) February 18, 2008 -- Rebel Monkey (TM), a New York casual game house, today announced that company co-founder Margaret Wallace is presenting on a featured panel at the annual Casual Games Summit, part of the Game Developers Conference held in San Francisco this week.

"The Markets of Tomorrow" panel is intended to focus on the challenges and opportunities facing the casual games industry. Panelists are planning to discuss the ways in which new players and emerging play patterns are impacting the industry as a whole. In addition to addressing these issues, Ms. Wallace is expected to focus on describing the various funding models and monetization strategies currently available to content creators and publishers in the casual games space.

The company recently announced that it raised $1 million in Series A financing from Redpoint Ventures, of Menlo Park, CA.

At the Casual Games Summit, experts discuss key themes in the casual games sector are discussed. The summit occurs every year as part of the Game Developers Conference (GDC). "The Markets of Tomorrow" panel is taking place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in Room 2014 at the West Hall of Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco.
